This course will supply clinicians with an introduction to psychopathy. It will provide a brief history of psychopathy, some statistics on the prevalence, and a current operational definition. The course will introduce Dr. Robert Hare and provide an overview of the Psychopathy Checklist Revised as well as describe the assessment tool. The course will also provide an overview of current trends in the treatment of psychopathy.
